This tool punches flat， diagonal slits that are ideal for hand leather stitching and give your leather goods an unique look. The knurled handle on this pricking iron was meant to improve grip and control when aligning and punching holes in leather. This tool， like other Kyoshin Elle pricking irons， is made in Japan from high-quality materials， producing incredibly clean stitches， and will last for a long time. This six-prong European-style stitch punch can be used to punch multiple stitching holes in a straight line such as on the edges of your leather， fast and efficiently. Avoid using leather that is so thick it makes removal difficult. If you work with leather that is thick enough to make removal difficult then a wider pricking iron is recommended.
